A Theatre Camp Presented by Merrill Arts Center! (For Grades 7th-12th)
Auditions can be scary and nerve-wracking with lots of questions and doubts. What is a headshot? What do I do in a dance call? How do I pick a monologue or song? What do I do with my hands? In this course students will learn how to unlock the mysteries of success in the audition room for school performances or for college programs. Learn confidence in the audition room through games and exercises focusing on vocal and performance skills. Discover what common dance steps are used by show choreographers and how to prepare for a dance call. Taught by award-winning teaching artists, you will leave more confident in their skills and ready for their next big audition.
